We only covered a small portion of Boston, I enjoyed seeing the downtown area as we followed the bricks of the Freedom Trail.

We saw some very old graves and tombstones, some 250 years old.

On Thursday May 25, 2014, We left the Boston area and headed for the southern coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The first place we stopped at and looked around was Padanaram section of Dartmouth. We ate lunch at the Sail Loft where I got my first ever lobster roll. We drove back roads to Newport, RI where we walked a section of the cliff walk. We would have walked the entire 3.5 miles if it weren't raining. We ended the day by driving to Mystic. After checking in, we drove for 20 minutes to the Foxwood Resort Casinos.

On Monday May 22, 2017, Frank and I left home at 6:00 am and drove to Brockton, MA, just south of Boston. We got up the next day and took the redline into the city. We began by walking a large portion of the Freedom Trail.

After the harbor tour, we walk up along the Charles River until we got to Fenway Park where we watched the Red Sox play the Texas Rangers. It was great to get to finally see a game at Fenway.

We took a boat tour of both of the inner and outer Boston Harbor. The tour was very informative and a great view of the city from out on the water.

On Wednesday May 24, 2014, Frank and I drove to Gloucester. We looked around Rockport and then went back to Gloucester and went Whale Watching. We saw lots of Whales.
